Frequency Coordination and Spectrum Planning Support

Nova Systems’ experience in complex communications includes frequency coordination and spectrum analysis and planning.  Nova have completed tasks in frequency coordination including: international ITU regulatory analysis and filing; national frequency coordination through the ACMA; and work with commercial and government customers to allow operational spectrum planning tasks and frequency coordination for planned services. 

Nova Systems has developed a number of in-house frequency coordination tools and has developed the Spectrum Interference Tool (SIFT) for Defence.  SIFT is an operational analysis tool developed for Satellite Operations at the Defence Network Operations Centre. SIFT software performs interference analysis between satellite ground terminals and fixed terrestrial (microwave) services.  This tool allows Defence communications planners to accurately and efficiently predict interference effects for satellite terminal placement in support of operations.
