Nova’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineers and specialists have unrivalled experience in all areas of acquisition and in-service T&E. The company’s foundations were primarily in the area of T&E including flight and weapons testing; but due to the increasing complexity of Commercial and other defence systems, we have expanded into other fields. Our experience base has since expanded to encompass specialist T&E personnel in all areas of Defence and Industry to include Land, Electronic Systems and Maritime capabilities, plus Commercial fields such as power generation and rail.

With our diverse T&E background, we are now the largest independent employer of specialist T&E personnel outside the Australian Defence Force.

Nova's experience in managing and conducting complex test and trials is unsurpassed with our staff embedded in organisation like the Defence Material Organisation, The Royal Australian Air Force Aerospace Operational Support Group, and the Royal Australian Navy Test Evaluation Acceptance Authority.
