Scheduling
Nova’s consultants have seen and can avoid the pitfalls associated with projects that have poorly developed schedules. Our staff have extensive training and experience in the development of schedules to support a wide range of projects. Using common scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Deltek Open Plan, Nova’s consultants have developed schedules for projects internal to our company as well as schedules as deliverables for external clients.
Using our strong Project Management skills, Nova has developed fully costed and resourced schedules with detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for a variety of complex projects. By way of example, Nova has developed a schedule to deliver a number of modifications on the Black Hawk helicopter through to Service Release in partnership with the DMO. Also, we have used Microsoft Project to develop a WBS and associated schedule for the Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning and Control project to allow us to effectively track how we are performing when supporting such a large and complex activity.
Nova's level of support for scheduling activities does not stop with the development of a product. We are also able to assist with the execution of your project through the ongoing statusing and further development of the schedule as a project progresses.
